Baby Massage Terms of Business

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Calm Tots and thank you for choosing us for Baby Massage services. By agreeing to work with Calm Tots you are agreeing in full to our terms and conditions of business.

Our services:

Calm Tots offers Baby Massage services to Clients, which include but are not limited to:

Baby massage sessions conducted by trained professionals.
Provision of baby massage oils and accessories.
Educational materials and resources related to baby massage techniques and benefits.
Consultations and personalised guidance on baby massage techniques.

We will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of the babies during the massage sessions. However, we shall not be held liable for any injuries or damages that may occur during or as a result of the sessions.

Calm Tots is not responsible for any allergic reactions or adverse effects resulting from the use of massage oils or accessories provided in the sessions.

Confidentiality:

We respect the confidentiality of our clients’ information. All personal and sensitive details shared with us will be kept strictly confidential, except where required by law or with the client's explicit consent. We have a duty of care to report any relevant issues of care to the appropriate service in your area.

Client’s Responsibilities:

It is the client's responsibility to provide accurate, complete, honest and up to date information regarding their baby’s medical history, and suitability to attend a Baby Massage session.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their baby is in good health and free from any contagious illnesses or conditions that may be exacerbated by the massage. Please do not bring you child to a session if they:

Have had a fever in the last 24 hours
Had vomiting or diarrhoea in the last 48hours

Have heavy nasal discharge
Have discharging eyes
Have symptoms of a possible communicable diseases such as:

Measles
Chicken pox

German measles
Whooping cough
Impetigo
Scarlett fever
Hand, foot and mouth disease

Norovirus

If you are in any doubt regarding your child’s health, please seek medical advice before bringing them to a session.

Clients must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Calm Tots during the Baby Massage sessions to ensure the safety and well-being of their baby.

Clients acknowledge that baby massage is an optional service and that they are solely responsible for deciding whether to participate and assuming any associated risks.

Refund Policy for Baby Massage Services:

Full Refund: Clients are eligible for a full refund of the session fee if a cancellation request is received at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. The refund will be processed using the original payment method.
Change of Booking Date: Clients may request to change the date of their session without incurring any additional charges, provided that the request is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session.
Late Cancellation Fee: If a client cancels the session within 48 hours of the scheduled time, a late cancellation fee will apply. This fee amounts to 50% of the session fee and will be deducted from the refund or charged separately if payment has already been made.
Rescheduling with Less Than 48 Hours' Notice: If a client wishes to reschedule the booking within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the late cancellation fee mentioned above will apply. The remaining 50% of the session fee will be required to secure the new date.
No-Show Policy: If a client fails to attend the scheduled session without prior notice or contact, no refund will be provided, and rescheduling will be subject to availability.
Refund Processing: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after the cancellation request is received. Please allow for standard processing times of your payment provider.

It is important to note that our refund policy is designed to ensure fairness and maintain our commitment to providing quality services. By booking a Baby Massage session you acknowledge and agree to abide by these refund policies.

Calm Tots cancellations:

Should Calm Tots need to cancel a Baby Massage session the next available time that is convenient for both parties will be offered. If after receiving all your documentation we feel that we are not aligned in our viewpoint and would not work well together we would provide a full refund and where possible, try to recommend another practitioner. We reserve the right not to proceed with the Baby Massage session if the child has any underlying health conditions.

Feedback and Complaints:

We value feedback from our clients and strive to continuously improve our services. Should a client have any concerns or complaints, we encourage them to communicate with us directly, and we will address the matter promptly and professionally.

Calm Tots will not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of the services or recommendations provided.

Please carefully review these terms of business before engaging our Baby Massage services. By proceeding with the session, you indicate your understanding and acceptance of these terms.
